Welch Allyn Inside Sales Representative

Job Summary:
The inside sales representative role is responsible for professionally and positively representing and promoting Welch Allyn and its products and services to a diverse customer base internally and externally. This role is responsible for the successful achievement of results outlined in a designated annual sales plan. In this position, the inside sales representative will maintain and enrich relationships with other Welch Allyn staff to enhance the success of the entire sales function. This role will also be responsible for the design, development, coordination and execution of a sales business plan to prospect for lead generation, develop plan sales and marketing strategies, deliver pre- and post-sales support while building and fostering relationships with key individuals to develop, expand, and maximize the sales of the Welch Allyn business and Welch Allyn market.
This opportunity is a growth position for potential replacement in future outside sales roles.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver annual sales target outlined in annual sales plan.
Promote all Welch Allyn products and services via phone, fax, and email to distributors and end users, work from an experienced and fully qualified sales perspective utilizing developed contacts to promote the business, and foster a supportive educational approach with all key contacts to develop long term relationships.
Motivate distributors to support and sell Welch Allyn product lines through regular and on-going communication to discuss promotions, etc. and also continue to further develop and maintain those relationships.
Complete extensive prospecting, lead generation, and lead follow up and in addition may set up product demonstrations for Welch Allyn field reps.
Develop and maintain understanding of Welch Allyn products as it relates to features, functionality, pricing, warranty, and any/all other attributes.
Develop working relationships with staff from other Welch Allyn functions to ensure that the most effective solutions are used in coordination of the sales process, to effectively and efficiently provide a full range of support for pre and post-sale support, and to enhance the effectiveness of the entire sales function.
Coordinate introduction of new products, may be in partnership with other Welch Allyn staff, inclusive of direct to end users, to independent reps, to distribution partners, etc.
Stay engaged with Welch Allyn peers from sales and other functions to leverage skills and knowledge, understand and exploit new and existing business, follow up on opportunities identified, and inform of opportunities (strives for a "win-win" for all).
Complete administrative aspects of role inclusive of response to email and voicemail;, timely follow up, expense reporting, trip reports, etc. on a thorough and timely basis and adhere to company policy inclusive of pricing, free goods, phone use, etc.
Utilize business intelligence and sales analysis tools/reports to manage, assess, and maximize opportunities.
Lead or participate in special projects and/or take on additional responsibilities as requested by the sales management team.
Required Background:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
0 to 2 plus years' sales experience at Welch Allyn or in the Medical Device Industry OR minimum of 2 plus years of non-medical device selling experience over the phone
Stable employment history
Ability to prospect and close business over the phone
Ability to work in multiple systems at once
Ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to speak clearly and can articulate over the phone
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to speak, read and write in local language and English
Established record of "successful" or better Annual Work Plan outcomes at Welch Allyn OR comparable results from another company
Basic knowledge of Welch Allyn and competitive products

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
