Project Leader Sustaining Engineering

Hill-Rom's comprehensive product and service offerings are used by health care providers across the health care continuum and around the world in hospitals, extended care facilities and home care settings to enhance the safety and quality of patient care.   Description   JOB SUMMARY: As a Project Leader in Sustaining Engineering, you will lead cross-functional Sustaining project teams to complete design engineering projects from planning through implementation. This position is for someone who is goal driven and enjoys working in a dedicated cross-functional team environment.   An appropriate candidate must be a flexible, self-directed, organized, dependable, proactive, and persistent project leader. He or she must effectively plan and manage projects, lead and coach project team members, solve problems, and make decisions with limited direction.     The primary scope of this role includes:   Project Management including (forming project teams, planning, budgeting, assigning & tracking tasks, identify & mitigating project risks, etc.) Review of Design Inputs and Outputs Lean and Continuous Improvement Initiatives Managing Product Launches Drive projects from concept through detailed planning, execution, and closure.  Manage the projects to ensure that they are delivered meeting our commitment to the business. This will include compliance to SOPs, schedule, budget, and definition of done in the Scope Agreement.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES   Your primary responsibilities will be to effectively organize and lead cross-functional project teams using your project management skills. Using your strong planning, organization, and collaboration skills, you will independently manage a diverse scope of assigned projects with limited supervision.    These responsibilities may include, but not limited to projects aimed to: Addressing product reliability and customer complaint issues in a timely manner. Supporting component and material obsolescence, enhance product features and reduce product costs. Proactively engaging in ongoing Sustaining Engineering process improvement and standard work lean office activities.       Qualifications   Required Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree - Technical/Engineering Degree preferred At least 4-7 years of applied project management experience Applied experience with Microsoft Project as well as other Office Suite applications Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate with a diverse group of cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing, R&D, QA, Regulatory, Sourcing, and Operations. Well-versed in Medical Device Design Controls or other regulated industry.     Preferred Qualifications: Prior SAP experience including DIRs, BOMs, MMDS, and Engineering Changes Project Management Professional (PMP certification desired) 18124962

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
