Group Lead

In this pivotal 2ndshift role on our Manufacturing team you will work collaboratively withSupervisor's and Production Planning to determine staff requirements andprioritize work to ensure that customer deliveries are achieved and productionplans are effectively executed.
As a motivated and energetic leader you have demonstrated solid leadership skills and hands-on capability. As the Group Leader, you will take the lead and give direction to a group of operators as well as organize and prioritize work schedules, assign tasks, and schedule overtime. Your role will involve monitoring work orders & shortages to ensure that the flow of work is expedited. You will play a crucial role in monitoring workstation set-ups and material resources for the operators. You are responsible and accountable for shift quality, and coordination of data collections, such as First Pass Yield reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Your ability to effectivelyinteract with a variety of supervisors will aid you in providing feedback onskill levels and training needs for manufacturing operators. You will play a pivotal role in trainingemployees on proper procedures, operations of tools and equipment and standardsof performance, safety, and assembly. Your willingness and ability to developemployees will aid you in establishing standards and achieving objectives withdirect reports. You're supportive andcollaborative approach will foster professional cross-training activities andpersonnel development initiatives. Youwill assist your Sr. Group Leader with employee appraisals, makerecommendations for personnel actions, and ensure an equal opportunityenvironment.
A High School degree as well as demonstrated mechanical skills in previous positions is required. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Back Up Group Leader role. The ideal candidate is able and willing to work overtime on short notice, demonstrates good judgment, and can handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly. You must be able to lift up to 40lbs. and work in various positions such as standing or sitting and working in repetitive jobs/assemblies. Lean Mfg and/or Six Sigma experience or some other Process Improvement program is highly desirable. Leadership skills and experience will be a key attribute.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
