Director of Commercial Operations

Position Overview:
This position will be the lead contact with the operations teams from our strategic business partners - large distributors, strategic healthcare providers and healthcare delivery networks. This position will own enhancing the operational efficiencies internally as well as with our external business partners. By developing these efficiencies, this person will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the sales that are traced to our end user customers enabling us to process the data used for GPO rebates, sales commissions and overall business analytics. A significant part of this role will also be to manage projects across the business functions (IT, Legal, Finance and Sales) to deliver substantial improvement and the future state structure to current methods.
Key Responsibilities:
Solidify operations relationships with key stakeholders and our largest distribution partners and customers.
Be a significant contributor to medical industry standards committees such as the HIDA organization.
The ability to exercise independent judgment and leadership on an ongoing basis when working with the complexity of outside partners (distributors, IDN's, and the government) as well as internal partners (IT, finance, sales, marketing and legal).
Proactively investigate and deliver continuous improvement to the current data collection and cleansing process.
Ownership and accountability for the major business processes listed above.
Seek out innovative solutions that will increase our employee's satisfaction thus producing more efficient and accurate results.
Adjust strategy, execution, and plans to ensure positive financial corporate results.
Own and manage a team that will interact with external partners such as distributors, IDN's and government accounts.
Identify process improvement projects/efficiencies and manage those projects while being able to work independently as well as being able to collaborate with a larger group.
Manage two direct reports that will each have 5-10 direct reports. These are the people that will collect, cleanse and evaluate the data before passing the data to our key internal partners.
Required Background:
Bachelor's Degree required.
Project management, SAP experience and master data experience is preferred.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills are required. High degree of organizational skills and detail-orientation skills.
Strong work ethic with project skill desired. Honest open communication skills with the willingness to encourage others to speak candidly while considering other opinions as viable options is required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
