Description
Client seeks an experienced Requirements/Business Analyst to join our team in Skaneateles Falls, NY. This person will work closely with Product Management to understand the product roadmap and lead the implementation team to execute the product vision. They also have a technical focus and will collaborate frequently with the Engineers in order to design a quality solution. They will elicit, gather, and define requirements in order to deliver valuable software and products that meet the business needs. The Business Analyst is team-oriented, collaborative, and focused on delivering value. They must be able to motivate others, instill accountability, and achieve results while learning and adapting quickly in a dynamic high performance work culture.
Collaborate with Product Marketing, Cross Functional team, and other stakeholders to decompose large epic stories into features and user stories that can be understood and approved by members of the development team
Effectively write user stories and acceptance criteria to express requirements to the development team
Work with the team throughout the product development, testing, implementation phases to ensure requirements are clearly understood
Support internal teams with specific questions, training and guidance during product deployment and ongoing training
Collaborate with the team to meet project and/or product development objectives and deadlines
Provide support to the team with feature prioritization, sequencing and organization, user acceptance testing, and other tasks, as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Fulfill the Requirements/Business Analyst role for New Product Development teams including:
o Requirements refinement and ranking
o Release Planning
o Create User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and review completed stories
o Coordinate intra-team dependencies with other projects
Focus on understanding the problem and being the domain expert to answer questions from the development team swiftly and decisively
Bring strong creative, conceptual and problem-solving skills to translate ambiguous conceptual ideas (business needs and user goals) into concrete solutions
Assess data from multiple sources (roadmap, voice of customer, user observations, stakeholders, tech constraints, UX research and market research) and synthesize it in order to develop solutions that meet customer needs and add value
Proactively engage stakeholders and concisely present options and recommendations
Skills and Experience
4+ years experience in a requirements/business analyst role within a New Product Development environment
Bachelor's degree in a computer science or business discipline
Solves problems with a positive attitude, teamwork, and innovation
Impeccable organizational and time management skills
Above average verbal and written communication skills
Skilled at leading meetings, conflict resolution, and making presentations
Strategic thinker, but can execute with great attention to detail
Assess, prioritize and make trade-offs against business, technical and user constraints
Must be able to work in the absence of complete information and remain able to make timely, high quality decisions
Healthcare, medical devices, or clinical experience is strongly preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
